i know this is a really random but are you bulgarian?
I noticed that you were attending cornell for architecture and I'm actually applying for the architecture program right now.
I just thought it was really cool to find someone with the same interests and bulgarian(?) background as me attending cornell! Thats really cool. haha
How do you like it there?

Yes. I am Bulgarian. Cornell is really nice but then again it depends what you are looking for. Are you applying to Cornell?

Hello!
I noticed that you are studying architecture at Cornell University (wow!) and I am applying there this year as an undergraduate! My application is due in 10 days! I know this is random but i was wondering whether you could give me some tips and pointers regarding the portfolio and supplement essay! It will be greatly appreciated!

Well, try to show many different things in your portfolio. If you have done paintings, sculptures, models.. anything graphic really would be nice. Also if you make the whole thing as a consistant one, that will be good. I believe they have example portfolios in the admissions office, may be even online.
About the essay, I don't really know what to tell you because it's very personal and different from person to person but I guess just be honest and try to show your interest in architecture. Don't exaggerate though, they can tell that and it's not a good impression.

thanks a lot ambyr! :) .. i wrote the essay already .. i talked about how i got hooked into architecture and a bit of what i want to do and ofcourse why cornell .. i'll keep you updated! which year are you currently in?
